COMPLAINTS

General complaints

We take complaints from clients, homeowners, and tenants very seriously and want to ensure we are doing everything we can to address what’s taken place. If you have a complaint regarding appraisal value, timeline, or general communication with a Red River Group team member, please direct it to our Managing Partner.

Complaints related to bias and discrimination

Bias related age, race, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation is unacceptable in the real estate valuation process, in tenant and landlord relationships, and in society as a whole. If you believe that bias or discrimination has impacted your experience with Red River Group in any way, please ensure you bring this forward (see below) so the situation can be addressed.

Our team is committed to learning from mistakes and inequality within the real estate industry through intentional educational sessions and readily available resources for team members. We recognize that this learning is an ongoing process and welcome feedback from the public at anytime if there are areas in which you believe we could do better.

Appraisal complaints related to discrimination or bias

If you believe that bias or discrimination has influenced an appraisal report you received from Red River Group, or an interaction you had with an appraiser from our firm, please ensure your voice is heard by utilizing the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s (AIC) Complaint Resolution Process. We want to ensure that if someone experiences harm caused by our firm, they have the opportunity to share their experience with a third party.

If you would prefer to reach out to us directly about your experience, please contact our Managing Partner or Client Relations Coordinator.
